Prom Night By Marshall Fine
When it comes to an expressive set of lungs for horror, it's hard to
match Jamie Lee Curtis, who set the standard for nonstop screaming in Halloween.
She built her reputation as a scream queen in such subsequent outings as The
Fog, Terror Train, and this similarly themed and relatively
subpar horror outing. A progenitor of I Know What You Did Last Summer,
this film focuses on four high school friends on prom night who are being
stalked by a masked maniac seeking revenge for a death that occurred six
years earlier. Guess who lives to tell the tale?

"Personally its a great triller but you have to remember its the Awesome80s.I think that Jamie Lee should have been the killer. It would have been so evil that way. And I have to laugh about her brother yelling "NOW NOW" that was hilrious!" --Holly | "I watched the 1980 movie 'Prom Night' last night! it was terrific, but it had me really scared and nervous. Like when that poor little girl died because of those other kids taunting her in the opening scene. jamie lee curtis is awesome! she's one of my favorite actresses and role models-she and Eddie Benton, who played the role of Wendy, are both beautiful, talented women. The horror films of the Awesome80s are the best, because of all the blood and guts and great music! the ending was both an unexpected turn of events and it was sad, too." --Anonymous |
