"Steve McQueen plays a rugged man of action who rids the big-sky country of rustlers but is ultimately forced to stop his one-man war. Ending is provocative." --Anonymous | "Steve McQueen's performance as Tom Horn was one of his best.
In a way McQueen was Tom Horn. He was a loner, not well educated
in terms of books, was a man who enjoyed mingling with the comman
man, and loved the outdoors, and lived a fast paced life.
Like Tom Horn, he left us to soon.
Long live the King of Kool." --Anonymous | "A lawyer from Michigan went to Wyoming and re-tried the case using all evidence that was used in his trial and found him without a doubt innocent. This took place around 1993 or'94 I believe. He also went to the current Governor at the time and requested that TOM HORN be exonerated. However the Governor refused as he didn't want to overturn the history concerning TOM HORN. The lawyer could not believe he was convicted, as all they had was circumstantial evidence. Especially since he was so far away from the scene. Also, why wasn't Miss Kimmel's statement ever regarded. Here is a man being sent to the gallows and they did not exhaust all means of finding him innocent.I am convinced
that he was innocent and they should have looked into the Millers and investigated in a more thorough way." --Brady 'THE BIG CHIEF' |
