1988 Score Baseball

By Patrick Mondout

Most people will tell you that the quality of baseball cards improved with the entry of Upper Deck in 1989. While that is certainly a landmark set, many seem to have forgotten how much this set rocked the hobby in 1988.

The biographies were written by noted Sports Illustrated writer/editor Les Woodcock. More on this set in the days to come (6/30/2005).

A checklist for all 660 cards is available here.
