Advertising shown during the Super Bowl is often as anticipated and
watched as the game itself. One of the most famous television ads of all
time was the one Apple used to launch the Macintosh in January, 1984
(known as the "Big Brother" ad, it was only shown during Super
Bowl XVIII).
The table below shows what it would have cost you to purchase a 30
second advertising slot from the network for each Super Bowl during the
