Your Memories Shared!

"Coach was a show in a class all by itself. While it was about a self centered yet loveable football coach, one did not have to be a football or sports fan in order to laugh and enjoy such excellent actors, writing and clean humor.

I watched the first show aired in 1989 and knew that it would be a hit. Though I was never a regular tv viewer, of the few shows that I grew to love, Coach definitely tops the list. Each episode has it's own charm and witty humor but one that stands out and still makes me laugh to tears is the one in which Coach Fox and Luther end up sharing a bed during one of their trips and Luther loans his souveneir ELVIS pajamas to Coach.

I ran into the reruns that aired in NJ in 1999 at 5:30 a. m. and though I was not scheduled to wake up for another 2 hours before getting ready for work, I could not resist and changed my sleep schedule. To this day, I anxiously await 7:00 a. m. (new air time) to watch 2 back to back episodes, only nowadays, I watch with my 4-1/2 year old. . . . . YES, she loves COACH too!

I pray that excellent shows such as COACH never be taken off the air because they are a breath of fresh air from all of the non creative, filthy garbage being shown in sitcom land of this modern day.

COACH can actually run in it's entirety while families of all ages enjoy a clean but intensely funny show that will go down in history side by side with it's earlier counterparts such as the likes of The Lucy Show, Honeymooners, etc.

If only COACH were still on primetime tv, instead of having to back away from the reality shows and awful sitcoms (Hollywood's obvious shortage of creativity), I would definitely still be watching.

For those of us who have had the pleasure to watch COACH, "Keep on laughing" and for those who haven't, "What are you waiting for?""
