"I was a young girl when this show aired for the one season in 1983-1984 and have always been a horse lover. Because there were many horses on the show, I remember several episodes. A particular episode that I remember involved a lady that had to shoot her beautiful horse due to an leg injury. I had to leave the room so I only assume she went through with it. I believe the horse and rider were in a race and the horse stumbled. I remember she didn't want to shoot the horse, but didn't want it to suffer either. This what I remember this cattle ranching TV show. I was really into this show but it was on so late that I had to beg my grandmother to let me stay up to watch it with my grandfather. Now that I am an adult and still a horse lover, I would love to see the re-runs of this show." --The White Rose of Virginia

"One of the best night time dramas in the Awesome80s. What a shame this only lastest one season. A terrific cast of characters made up this drama and its hard to believe it did not become one of the greatest shows of all time. I recently caught reruns of this show and once again was amazed by the talent and contents of each of the episodes. The chemistry between Edward Albert/Sam Elliot and David Soul was unbelieveable!!!! To bad only a few people can remember this 1 year only drama-maybe someday someone will say "Hey! We really messed up when we cancelled this one!"" --quistos friend
