Seven Brides for Seven BrothersBy teriboo
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers aired in the early Awesome80s on CBS.
Unfortunately, it only lasted one season. I believe if it had been given a
chance, it would have caught on. It was a great family show which showed
all the trials and tribulations of a family of seven young men (approx.
ages 12-25) growing up without parents. The parents had died years before
and it was up to the eldest McFadden brother Adam to keep the family and
their ranch from falling apart.
Adam came home one day (this was in the pilot episode) and brought home
a wife, Hannah. None of the other siblings had known Adam was seeing
anyone so they were shocked that he had gotten married without telling
them anything. Some of the siblings gave her a hard time at first. Hannah
was not aware when she married Adam that the entire McFadden clan lived
under the same roof. A ranch located and filmed on location up North in
Murphy's California.
Eventually Hannah pretty much set them straight and they all grew to
love her as part of their close family.
The show aired approximately 24 episodes in all.
