Werewolf

By Werewolf_Fang

WEREWOLF started with a pilot movie in 1987 starring John J.York, Lance Le Gault & Chuck Connors. The series is almost forgotten today - except for its fans who still remember it from when it first aired. Werewolf was well ahead of its time and ended way too early.

The series kicks off with Eric Cord (John J. York) arriving home only to discover his room-mate is a werewolf. Eric shoots his friend in self defense but not before he himself is bitten. Now Eric is cursed to become a werewolf unless he can find and kill the original source of the werewolf bloodline.

Eric sets off on a desperate quest to find the original werewolf who he thinks may be Janos Skorzeny (Chuck Connors). To make matters even worse for Eric he is also being tracked for his room-mates murder by a bounty hunter named Alamo Joe (Lance Le Gault). A setup for great suspense every week.

It was written & created by Frank Lupo, had a music score by the great Sylvester Levay and with directors like David Hemmings & James Darren & throw in the effects & designs of Greg Canom & Rick Baker and you know your in for some terrific entertainment.

WEREWOLF ran originally on the Fox network for 28 episodes. I saw it when it aired in the U.K on Sky One.
