The 2001 Arizona Diamondbacks went 92-70 and finished 1st in the National League West. The Diamondbacks drew 2,736,451 to Bank One Ballpark. Luis Gonzalez, Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling made the All-Star team. Randy Johnson was honored with the Cy Young award.

GONZO!

After never hitting more than 31 home runs in his 11 year career, Luis Gonzalez exploded for 57 homers to go along with 142 RBIs. He finished 3rd in the MVP voting.
